Because of circumstances I had to go on vacation all by myself and by coincidence I found Workshops in Andalusia on the internet. I'm very glad that I've chosen this holiday. I felt immediately at home with Mick and Yvon, who are very relaxed and create a spontaneous atmosphere. Also nice that they collect you at the airport and that you can do whatever you like. I've had a lot of fun with the other guests, enjoyed beautiful sight-seeing and ate very good Spanish food.

Nice that there were so many different people. Although I didn't have any experience with stonesculpting, I've made a really beautiful sculpture, if I may say so. It's great to sculpt at the beach with the sun on your skin! Thanks a lot!

A lot of people like you to stop questioning yourself. Everybody wants you to stay as you are. They advise you not to take risks. Criticize you when you walk the unknown roads. But you have to follow your heart and keep asking questions in life.

With sculpting you experience a feeling of freedom. With primitive tools like a hammer and chisel, ánd your heart. In very hard and difficult stones. And then you'll find yourself again. Alone at work en still in a group. Everybody is creating a fantastic sculpture. A reflection of your soul. Allways witha lot of fun and a good glas of wine.

Because Mick and Yvon work with small groups, I went to Workshops in Andalusia. Once I arrived in Las Negras I was struck by the hospitality and attention of Mick and Yvon. The resort is an unique place, at about 10 meters from the sea. I like the relaxed atmosphere and to my great surprise, I made a very nice piece of art!
